Our 5th grade students went on a field trip to Lone Star College. The visit helped give students information about college and career readiness. 



  • Breakfast at Timbers: Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast

    The staff and PTO of Timbers Elementary invites our valued volunteers to a breakfast in your honor on Wednesday, May 29th, from 9:00 am-10:00 am in the library. We would like to say thank you for all of your hard work this year! Please RSVP to Mrs. Molina in the front office at 281-641-2000 by Thursday, May 23rd.   • Timbers Kindergarten Registration

    Parents and students are invited to a kindergarten classroom tour to be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 23. Registration is available by appointment April 29-May 10.   • Humble ISD Education Foundation Grants

    The Humble ISD Education Foundation awarded Timbers $10,437.95 in Innovative Education grants for 2013! The Foundation was able to award $264,905 in Innovative Education Grants on Prize Posse Day. When combined with other designated grants and programs, the Foundation awarded over $833,838 to Humble ISD in the 2012-2013 school year, one of the most successful to date!

  • Astros Perfect Attendance Awards

    Students with Perfect Attendance for the 2nd Semester will receive a ticket voucher from the Astros Academic All-Stars Program. Students with all A's, A-B Honor Roll, and Good Conduct/Character will receive additional incentives from the Astros as well.

  • Papa John's Family Nights

    Mark your calendars for the 2nd Tuesday of every month. It is family night at Papa John's located in Atascocita. 20% of proceeds will be donated to Timbers PTO.

  • Student Birthdays

    Parents may purchase a birthday treat for their child's class during their lunch time. Frozen treats may be purchased from the cafeteria for 75 cents each to be distributed after the children finish their lunch. Please notify the cafeteria at 281-641-2008 one week prior to the event in order to have enough treats on hand for all interested.

  • My School is Cool Program

    This year Timbers Elementary will be participating in the Deerbrook Mall "My School is Cool Program". Our school will earn points for every dollar spent at the mall...this includes food court and the AMC movie theatre!! The program runs from August 16, 2012 through mid May 2012. At that time Deerbrook Mall will award money to the Humble ISD schools with the most points!!

  • Spirit Rings TE STUDENTS ARE NOW EARNING SPIRIT STICKS FROM THEIR TEACHERS AND PRINCIPALS!   Be sure to ask your child if they have earned one.  Spirit sticks can be attained by ALL STUDENTS.  Every student will enjoy the opportunity to show off the rewards they have earned all year!

  • Cafeteria Elementary Schools Cafeteria News

     Starting in August 2012, as required under The Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010, students that eat in the cafeteria must take at least  ½ cup of fruit and/or vegetable with two other meal components  to receive the $2.00 lunch.  If the student does not take at least ½ cup of the fruit and/or vegetable with two other meal components they will be charged higher a la carte prices.  Food components include: meat, bread/grain, fruit, vegetable and milk.
