  Class of 2016 - It's picture time! 
Your senior yearbook photos will be taken during English class on April 21. Girls will need to wear a collarless shirt. Boys will need to wear a white button down shirt with a black tie. Click here for the order form!

Physical Day is April 29
KPHS athletics Physical Day will be April 29 from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Anyone who needs a physical for any activity is welcome to come get it done with us that day. Cost is $20. See Mr. Scalia or Ms. Rockwell for any questions or to get a physical form.

Parking information for seniors
Attention ALL next year’s seniors who are paying the extra $5 to pick your parking space, your parking applications are now being accepted in room 1600.  Make sure you attach a copy of your driver’s license and insurance.  Also all badge fines, library fines and textbook fines must be paid and signed off by your AP secretary and librarian Mrs. Parrish before applications are accepted.  Parking passes are distributed on a first-come-first serve basis, so turn them in as soon as possible!
If you have not picked up a parking application, you may do so in room 1600 as well. 

Come enjoy some pizza and help the orchestra!
The Kingwood Park Orchestra Booster Club is having a spirit night at Papa Murphy's in Kingwood.  Just mention the orchestra and they'll donate 20%!  It is Thursday, May 7. Orchestra director Mr. Taylor will even be making pizzas from 5:00-6:30 p.m. that evening!

The Hospitality Services I and II student participated in the annual Hospitality Educators Association of Texas Competition at the M.O. Campbell Center in Aldine on March 24. The 10 students in the program earned a total of 16 medals. Shout outs go the 3 KPHS participants: Caroline Johnson, Kelly Wilson and Brooke Zochert.  Kelly Wilson placed 2nd in the Job Interview Competition. Brooke and her team placed 2nd in the Marketing Campaign competition. Caroline and her team placed 3rd in the Waiter Tray Race. Other events that the Humble ISD team competed in were: Lodging Industry Test, Manager on Duty, Recriting Video creation, Recruiting Brochure creation, Banquet Set-up and more.  We want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our two judges: K.H.S. Faculty member – Mrs. Diana Aston and Kingwood community member and active volunteer, Mrs. Jenny Micheletti.  The Hospitality Services program students intern at the Houston Airport Marriott Hotel 4 mornings a week. For more information about the program speak to your counselor.

Prom tickets on sale for $50.
Prom will be May 16 at the Westin-Galleria.   
Purchase them at front desk, during lunches on stage with cash or check, online with credit card or see Ms. Sanford to pay with credit card on campus. Tickets are on sale until April 30, 2015. 

Yearbooks selling fast! Buy before they are gone. 
A limited number of books remain for sale. Books can be pre-ordered by sending cash or a check for $75 made out to Kingwood Park HS. Money can be dropped off in Room 1504 with yearbook adviser Megan Ortiz. The books will arrive in mid-May.
