The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding middle school students. It is an honor roll but also an organization that serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.

NJHS will be volunteering for several spring carnivals within the next couple of weeks. Please see below for important information.
Foster Elementary Spring Carnival- sign up in Mrs. Smithson's room. Friday April 10th, Foster Elementary could use 15-20 middle school NJHS members to work from 5:30- 7:30pm and another 15-20 students to work from 7:15-9:15pm. KMS NJHS students will be paired with a parent or KPHS NHS students to help work carnival game booths at Foster. Shift 1, from 5:30 - 6pm will be signing in, getting booth assignments and helping with final set-up. 6pm - 7:30 the students will work the booths. The second shift group should arrive by 7:15 to check in and get their booth assignments. They will work their booth from 7:30 - 9pm and then from 9-9:15 help with clean-up. All students who work will be given a signed KPHS NHS hours form at the end of their shift to turn in as proof of working their shift.
